The Word of God teaches that Tithes are to go to your local church, please insure your Grace Giving goes there first. We strongly believe in the Local Church! While visiting the Branson Area, please contact Pastor Cooper if you would like to assist with Door to Door visitation, or with items around the church (usually something needs attention).
If you were blessed by our church while here on vacation, and feel led to give a special offering, if not designated, it will go into our general fund to help cover the day to day operations of CBCB. If you desire to assist in any of the following, please designate your funds as such (we do have the ability to accept PayPal).
Benevolence Fund - To assist the needy in the Branson, MO area. Frankly speaking, many come to the Branson area seeking to 'hit it big', or thinking that there must be many jobs here. Most jobs are minimum wage, do not exist during off season, and are usually less than full time. Many cannot simply survive without help. We require any seeking assistance meet with Pastor (Financial assistance is secondary to Spiritual Assistance), attend services, and insure they are truly needy. If you feel led to help in this area, please designate any gift as Benevolence Fund.
Building Fund - It is our desire to finish the church building. Like you, many have attended CBCB for years during vacations, wondering why the sanctuary has not been completed. The reason: the roof was not installed correctly. The metal roof comes into direct contact with the metal trusses and purlins. The cold transfers, so the warm moist air, coming into contact with the cold metal, causes condensation, and it 'rains' inside the building (if we did not use dehumidifiers to stop it). Any finished wall / ceiling would be destroyed by the moisture in a short time. Pastor Lehman our previous pastor has had New Testament builders visit, and they estimated around $15K to 'FIX' the building (not including their volunteer labor). Any suggestions or donations towards this end would be greatly appreciated.
Building Mortgage - Calvary Baptist Church As a small church moving forward still has a rather large mortgage and is praying God will continue to help us, as we endeavor to get out of debt. (around 700.00 a month in interest alone) which we would much rather see going into God's Work.
Missions - World Wide - Matthew 28:19-20. Go Ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Missions is our way of going beyond the Branson with the Gospel. We work to insure that all missionaries we support, are in alignment with the Doctrinal positions that this church holds. This includes church plants around the world, but we should not forget America.
Home Missions - America Church Planters. Pastor Cooper visits several church planting conferences each year, that focus on assisting other local, Independent, Fundamental, KJV Baptist churches in sending out church planters to America. We would love to have more funds to assist with short term funding to those that are solid men seeking God's direction in planting Baptist Churches in America!
